When I ask my boys what do they want to do today? 9 times out of 10, they will say they want to paint! So as always I like to change things up to make it more exciting for them and me, of course! So this time, I prepped the activity, then presented the activity to them and told them to smack and splat…they literally had no idea what was going to happen but loved it when they saw the colours!
- Paper
- Paint bottles
- Round Cotton pads
- Toy hammer or a spoon
What to do:
Drop huge blobs of paint onto the paper, and then lightly cover with cotton pads. Then let the kids smack each cotton pad with a spoon (or what ever tool you’ve got) and let them enjoy the colours splatting out. Once done, peel away the cotton pads and let the kids enjoy expanding on it, or just enjoy their art!
