Fathers are truly the unsung heroes. Whilst mothers do the hard work, there are many fathers who go above and beyond for their families and their children.
So when Fathers day does come along, the dad and grandad do get a little love and appreciation. Here are some gift ideas that we have gifted in the past.
I bought this from Amazon; Dear Dad contains over 60 questions and prompts to help Dad enjoy writing about his childhood, school days, home life, becoming a father, and his hopes for the future – questions you’ve never thought to ask.
Football shirts:
Fathers day happens shortly after the new premiership football shirts have been released, so what better time to gift personalised shirts to both father and child!
Personalised Scrabble tile frame:
This was way easier than it looks. I printed off a template using word, and filled in the gaps with scrabble tiles. I then popped it into a Ribba Ikea frame – to make the gift presentable!
Crafts:
I’ve done the odd craft or two for fathers day! Although I can’t actually find a picture of them, Pinterest is the best place to search for easy to complicated crafts!
Customized Mug:
Using porcelain pens on a porcelain mug, Let kids go wild and draw a picture for daddy. An option is to write dad using masking tape, so even if the child goes over it with the pen, once its dry. You can remove the tape to reveal ‘Dad’
.
