- Navigating Qatar: Qatar offers a diverse array of transportation options, ranging from the metro and taxis to helicopters. Check out this informative article by Visit Qatar: Getting Around in Qatar. However, it's worth noting that the article doesn't cover Uber and the local taxi service, Karwa.
Uber, in particular, is remarkably affordable in Qatar, providing a convenient and cost-effective means of transportation. The process is user-friendly, and both Uber and Karwa are available for daily hires, featuring a variety of vehicle sizes, including small cars, 4x4s, and Executive Cars!
- Afternoon tea: Indulging in afternoon tea at Doha's 5-star hotels is a delightful experience. Whether you choose the elegance of Raffles in Lusail or the serene ambiance of Banana Island, discover the perfect venue that suits your taste.
- Spas: Unwind and rejuvenate at the extensive array of spas in Doha and throughout Qatar. Among my preferred choices are InterContinental Doha, Mondrian, and Waldorf Astoria for a truly relaxing experience.
- Hotel day packages: Many hotels in Qatar provide day packages, making it an excellent option if overnight stays are beyond your budget or if you wish to explore various hotels.

- Baladna park (cooler months) a green refuge on the outskirts of Doha, is the gateway to a peaceful Nature Wonderland. A visit to Baladna Park gives everyone a chance to participate in their favourite outdoor activities for all ages.
- North sedera farm The farm takes pride in preserving the cultural heritage of the country. Through the Qatari museum, different local trees, and various activities, visitors get a unique chance to experience the local culture in one place. The farm has a mini zoo with various animals, including Arabian Oryx, zebra, ostrich, lama, and camels.
- Purple island A serene island set amidst nature beyond Al Khor (a hour away from Doha) is the Purple Island abundant of mangroves and lush greenery. This island brings you an opportunity to reconnect with nature away from the hustle-bustle of the city. From long walks and family picnics to kayaking options, the Purple Island has something for everyone in the family.
- Al khor park is divided into two parts, the first part is environmental and makes up about 35% of the total area of the park, and the other part is entertainment, which includes 56%. Among the environmental features of this park is a mini zoo with an area of 1,335 square meters with fifteen species of large and small animals, the birdcage, which is one of the largest cages, with an area of 11,400 square meters and a height of 40 meters, are just some of the features of this park.
- Panda House (Al Khor) Experience giant panda cuteness overload at Qatar's Panda House! Witness these black and white fluffballs munching on bamboo, frolicking in their spacious enclosure, and maybe even catching a snooze (they are pros at that!).
- Al Samiriya estate is a lovely break away from the hustle and bustle, from the outstanding grounds to the hotel, to horse riding to the leaning mosque, there’s something for everyone.
- Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum
- Al Samriya Riding school They provide Horse Riding, Lessons, Horse Training & Livery in Qatar. Located 20KM away from Doha City within the estate. - To experience Desert safari including Quad Biking, camel riding, dune bashing, and more. Visit the highly recommended 365 adventures.
- Zekreet Limestone Discover the natural beauty of the desert and the arid wilderness at Zekreet. Dominated by unique mushroom-like limestone rock formations, the area has an otherworldly feel. Other attractions include free-roaming oryx, gazelles and flamingoes.
- Al Zubarah - Once a thriving pearl fishing town and trading port, Al Zubarah is now Qatar’s largest heritage site, with an impressive city wall, ancient residential palaces and houses, markets, industrial areas and mosques.
- Singing Sand Dunes are an approximately 100 square km area with about 60 meter high sand dunes which create a magical vibrating sound when you move the sand. Some call it singing or humming
- Musfur Sinkhole is a magical hiden place in the heart of the country, as it is the largest known of the still accessible sinkhole caves in Qatar.
