• Cloud shapes cut out of white card
• Strips of coloured scrap paper
• PVC Glue
• Cotton wool balls
• Coloured foam letters/numbers
• Coloured Cereal (click here to see how I did that)
• Glitter
• Double sided tape

Steps to decorate:

Put some glue into a plate, and all the decoration pieces nearby, and then either you can demonstrate decorating the cloud or let your child take the lead by sticking down cotton wool balls, cereal and whatever else you’ve provided. Once finished let the cloud dry, and once dried then turn it over and put down double sided tape (as pictured) on the widest part of the cloud, and then stick down the strips long enough to pass the cloud as pictured. And there you have it, a pretty decorated rainbow cloud. We did this during my playgroup with children aged between 18 months and 3 years of age.
