Children of most ages will love these, for babies as young as 3 months you could make it for tummy time by sticking it down on the floor and getting them to lean on a pillow, for babies at 6 months you could stick it on their highchair, whilst you get on prepping for meals! for my 1.5 year old he loved pushing the beads i put it all around and loved the texture. For my 3 year old I hope to get some fish and underwater items to put in so he can create the sea along with blue gel! Or even play eye spy! There are many possibilities, just let your imagination run a little wild.

What I used:

• The cheapest clear and coloured hair gel I could find.
• Ziplock bag
• Tape
• Beads
• Sequins (try to avoid ones with sharp edges)

How we made them:

Put in a tablespoon of gel into the bag then put in what you like, if you’re doing it by theme put in one of each item, then add some more gel and then put in a few more, If you put too much in, it will look too crowded. Then add more gel, don’t over fill it, lie it flat, let the air out and then seal it shut and then tape it over. Then stick it down to a table, floor or where you like, it’s better when its lying flat, rather hung up.
