Travelling with one or more child can be daunting!
Travelling has been made so much more easier now, and from personal experience when investing in a buggy for travel, it’s best to buy a good one you can take time and time again, rather than buying the cheapest if you do travel often and also one that you can carry on board (or even on a train, bus etc) with you! Here I will bring to you, the 3 that I know of that do fit in a overhead on a plane, and some that are perfect for travelling (checking in at the gate) or even small boots, for smaller cars! These buggies like myself can be used for daily use when the kids get a little older!
Mothercare XSS Also Known as POCKIT to the rest of the world
Priced at around 699DIRHAMS/129.00 Pounds (I CANT FIND THE POUND SIGN!!). (Available at Mothercare in the UK and Mumzworld in the Middle East)
XSS has an innovative lightweight chassis design (3.9kg), which will fold to an incredibly compact size (H34cm x W14cm x D32cm).I haven’t used this myself, but apart from the great size, the one downside in the reviews is: ‘The XSS has achieved its light weight and foldability by cutting out everything superfluous, so it’s a basic ride for age six months plus.’
BabyZen YOYO+ Available from 6+ OR 0+ Or Travel package (baby seat adapters)
Priced start at 2149DIRHAMS/319.00 Pounds (I CANT FIND THE POUND SIGN!!). (Available at John Lewis the UK and Baby Souk in the Middle East)
When folded to its compact size, 52 x 44 x 18 cm and weighs about 6kg. I will be bias with this buggy, I bought it 2 years ago, to use as a second stroller and to use during flights with the two. But it has since become the main stroller and the Bugaboo is now collecting dust. It is the expensive one out of the bunch but personally it is totally worth the money with how sturdy it is. Since I bought it, I can now convert the same frame to use car seat adapters, or convert it to a pram for a newborn.
Priced at around 1499DIRHAMS/199.00 Pounds (I CANT FIND THE POUND SIGN!!). (Available direct in the UK and Baby Souk in the Middle East)
Suitable from birth, this lightweight at less than 6kg and measuring just 22 x 12.2 x 20″ when folded, this lightweight travel stroller can easily fit into many carry on luggage. I haven’t used this myself, but from reviews, it is an easy foldable buggy and quite sturdy too, and car seat compatible too!
Folds up small but cannot be taken on board. (info to follow soon)
